The automatic seam welding machine is mainly used for automatic seam welding of circular and prismatic conical pipes. It can also be used for seam welding of equal diameter circular steel pipes. The welding process uses submerged arc welding. This equipment uses a workpiece moving and welding gun fixed method for welding. During welding, the vertical and lateral pressure cylinders can be synchronously pressurized according to the changes in the workpiece taper to ensure that the weld gap and welding gun position remain unchanged, thereby ensuring continuous and stable welding of the weld seam.
Product Composition and Features:
This equipment consists of a mechanical system, a hydraulic system, a welding system, and a control system.
The mechanical system includes a gantry frame, a weld misalignment control mechanism, a weld guiding mechanism, a seam forming mechanism, a water-cooled copper pad, a workpiece running carriage and track, and lifting and rotating rollers.
The seam forming function is jointly completed by two sets of lateral pressure wheel components, a vertical pressure wheel component, and a bottom workpiece positioning block. The pressure combination in four directions completes the longitudinal seam closing of the workpiece. All pressure wheel components are driven by a hydraulic system, and the seam forming pressure is adjustable.
The automatic weld tracking system consists of guide rollers and pressure rollers. The welding gun is fixed on the tracking system. When the weld seam is offset, the weld tracking system can manually adjust the welding gun.
